As a Back-End developer you play an important role in the creation and further development of our platforms and applications. Together with a team of motivated colleagues, you are responsible for the development and management of the website. You make an important contribution in code reviews, technical discussions and refinements. You will also participate in various projects such as the development of a new Headless Platform.

You are also responsible for

• Design and develop services, interfaces and APIs for the Technical Union E-Commerce services
• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Writing well-designed, thoughtful, testable and efficient code
• Ensure compliance with Security and Performance benchmarks
• Maintain consistent documentation
• Contribute to the development and improvement (Continuous Improvements) of the CI/CD pipeline and Code Quality and Review

• We are open to developers of different levels. Based on your level, we determine together your development path and any training/coaching that goes with it.
• Experience in designing and developing APIs and Microservices
• Experience in working with build deployment tools (such as Maven, Gradle, Atlassian and Bamboo)
• Experience with working with/knowledge of the general setup, architecture and components of an E-commerce framework in an Enterprise/ large scale platform
• If you have knowledge of the Oracle platforms (Oracle Commerce and Oracle Guided Search (Enedeca), then you have an advantage with this.
• You have excellent knowledge of both the Dutch and English language
• The necessary knowledge and experience with Java and other relevant frameworks.
