About the role

Our sales representative Oncology will be working in a large international organization which will offer many opportunities! As part of our team you will work in a small and close team where you will focus on gaining market. You will be responsible for the proactive sales of BDI Oncology products thanks to your positive representation of our organization. Do you enjoy meeting and, if possible, exceeding sales targets? Main responsibilities will include:

  • Pro-active promotion and sales of BDI’s wide range of oncology products, in hospitals.
  • Proactively advising new and existing customers in the respective region and realizing customer needs and requirements.
  • Execution of all sales activities, from the introduction of new products, such as instruction and presentation to customers, to handling contract negotiations and supervising the deal through to closing.
  • Effective management of sales calls: sales analysis and commercial awareness combined with excellent negotiation, presentation and account leadership skills.
  • In-servicing of new technology and equipment to practitioners, nurses, (interventional) Radiologists, Oncologists. In addition, you will fully train staff regarding the use of the equipment.
  • Development of individual sales strategy in line with market conditions.
  • Proactive analysis of market trends and developments (observes, analyzes and reports needs, concerns and opinions of accounts and decision makers and collects market information, competitive information and general market dynamics information) and competitors’ developments to ensure competitive advantage in the market
  • Working closely with key opinion leaders, this role will provide support for special projects and for defined key accounts.
  • Maintain CRM tool salesforce.com by reviewing, updating and entering information; keeping accurate and up-to-date.

About you

  • Good comprehension of the healthcare industry, including expertise in diseases, treatments and medical procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Netherlands healthcare market, including d trends.
  • Experience within and understanding of the hospital environment, as well as the ability to demonstrate a successful track record in sales to both senior clinical and commercial business managers in a medical environment.
  • Strong customer service focus and an orientation to the needs of the Field Sales Force.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience. We consider it an added plus if you have gained this in our industry (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical equipment). This is because you will be encouraged to be able to maintain clinical expertise to competently support cases.
  • Proficient in Dutch with a good understanding of English
