Being part of a highly technical and growing market we are developing and supplying Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charger Infrastructure across the globe.

Functie inhoud

• Tasks:
• Together with the Electrical Design Engineers and Architects plan, execute and prepare reporting of PCBA and component validations and ensure that all validation activities are properly documented and referenceable.
• Definition and creation of test setups, both on the bench and in the climatic chambers, in cooperation with the Electrical and Thermal Design Engineers, including hooking up and configuring the various pieces of test equipment.
• Understanding of basic reliability concepts and of how to prove the life time of a component or PCBA in the field through the various types of accelerated life testing.
• Building and maintaining a pool of test equipment, and providing recommendations on the purchase of new and replacement equipment.
• Keeping up to date with the Lab safety requirements, taking the necessary examinations and ensuring that all test setups / execution meet all safety requirements.

Functie eisen

• BSc. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or other relevant Technical domain (such as Mechanical, Thermal, Reliability Engineering).
• Familiar with safety procedures working in Low Voltage environments.
• Comfortable in the lab, pragmatic approach to creating up test setups / executing test plans with a solid eye to detail and accuracy; Hands on experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of test scripting for automating test setups is preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills; can outline an issue or proposal in a concise and unambiguous manner.
• Coping well with a dynamic and fast growing business environment, and able of working in multi-disciplinary / geographically dispersed teams.
• Available for occasional (international) travelling as required by project execution.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage but not a requirement.
